Fill
your child's visit with discovery and laughter
with these exciting adventures and quiet moments. |

YEARS & UNDER . . .
Enjoy a pony ride or the petting zoo.
Feed the ducks.
Walk, bike, skate, stroller or kiddy backpack on the Alpine
Pedal Path.
Catch your first fish out on the lake with a fishing guide.
Touch snow for the first time, make a snowman, lay down in
the snow and make a snow angel, or ride a tube down a snowy hill.
See the grizzly and black bears, bison, eagles and other wild
animals at the animal park.
Snuggle with Mom or Dad and listen to a "bear" story.

TO 12 YEARS . . .
Take your parents on a guided Jeep tour or off-road adventure.
Bowl a few games.
Water slide, drive a go-cart and play some miniature golf.
Toast marshmallows and make s'mores.
Attend a Ranger/Naturalist talk at the Discovery Center and
learn to see the forest with new eyes.
Learn to ski or snowboard. |

Build a snow fort and bomb your brother with snowballs.
Turn out all the lights and tell ghost stories.

YEARS AND OLDER . . .
Ride the Summit Sky Chair, have lunch, then hike or ride your bike
back down.
Water ski, jet ski, windsurf, or try parasailing.
Take a boat tour around the lake, or be the captain of your
own canoe and visit a beaver dam.
Play a round of golf.
Ride with friends on the parks and pipes...catch some air!
Grab some cross-country skis or snowshoes and go exploring.
Build a roaring fire and sip hot chocolate and pop popcorn.
Take a horseback ride in the snow. |
